Brief Resume:

EXPERIENCE:

-Hong Kong; Savantas Policy Institute, Policy Officer — July 2016 - Present Conducting research and analysis on public policy in Hong Kong; prepare and translate written materials including letters, speeches, and pamphlets; and managing online platforms and websites.

 

-Toronto; University of Toronto, Research Assistant — October 2014 - 2015 Worked under Professor Lynette Ong, an established scholar at the University of Toronto, as her research assistant examining social unrest in Mainland China.

 

-Toronto; District Councillor Joe Cressy’s Office, Interpreter — August 2015 - December 2015 Worked as a volunteer to assist the office with Mandarin and Cantonese speaking electorates. Provided pro-bono Chinese telephone service and live interpretation for Councillor Cressy when interacting with Chinese electorates whilst performing other miscellaneous tasks in the office.

 

-Toronto; University of Toronto Chinese Politics Society, Founder and President The University of Toronto Chinese Politics Society aims to enhance political awareness and literacy concerning Chinese politics by providing academic events for students and scholars to exchange educated opinions concerning Chinese politics.
